But there are still spheres where the old mentality prevails. Three General Directors of L.T.D "Tbilisi Metro" were changed during a year. In November 2005, there was a structural reorganization subsequently which most of 330 workers were illegally discharged on 1st February, 2006. It has provoked a dissatisfaction and distrust of workers towards the trade union heads. There was convened extraordinary seventh conference of L.T.D "Tbilisi Metro" on 24 March, 2006. During the conference, ex-Chairman tendered his resignation and lately there was elected a new Chairman, Besik Kharatishvili and his Vice-Chairman, George Khitalishvili. At conference new Chairman has raised all those questions which early have been put by initiative group, but have not been solved. The delegates also have made categorical demands towards the administration and the 11th of April has been declared as the precautionary day of strike.
